Cefex 200 MG Tablet is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections affecting the lungs, throat, kidneys, bladder, ureter, and urethra. It is also used to treat a sexually transmitted infection called gonorrhoea. This medicine kills bacteria and prevents the spread of infections. It is not effective against infections caused by viruses or fungi. Cefex 200 MG Tablet has some common side effects such as diarrhoea, stomach pain, headache, weakness, nausea, and vomiting. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or worsen. Avoid any activity that requires concentration if you feel drowsy after taking this medicine. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to it. Cefex 200 MG Tablet can be taken with or without food. Take it as directed by your doctor and ensure that you complete the entire course of this medicine. Do not stop taking this medicine on your own, as it may cause re-infection that would be difficult to treat. Contact your doctor if you do not feel better even after completing the course of treatment. Cefex 200 MG Tablet may not be suitable for everyone. Inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems or any other health conditions before taking this medicine.
